The love jihad case of Gwalior did not remain limited to forced conversion and marriage. The accused and his family also got the victim traded in prostitution. The mother of the accused would bring new customers and trade the girl to them in exchange of money. Maulana, who performed the conversion and marriage ritual also raped the girl along with the brothers and cousins of the accused.
The victim is a 22 year old girl from Dabra, who managed to ran out of her in laws clutch to report the case to the police. Talking to a newspaper daily, the victim said, she lived with her sister in Gwalior for 3-4 years met Raju Jatav at an event. The two later became friends. Raju spiked her drink and made physical relation with her without consent which got her pregnant. Later , Raju’ mother gave her pills and carried out abortion. Raju married the victim on 18 September 2021 as per hindu ritual. It was after the wedding when she found out that Raju Jatav was actually Imran Khan. His mother was suga Begum and brothers were Punni khan and Aman khan.
The victim further added that, they forced her to convert and remarry as per Islam ( Nikaah ). The Maulvi named Osama Khan, who read Nikaah and the two brother of Imran raped her several time. It became a daily thing. Suga Begum traded her into prostitution, she would bring new customers and send them to her room where they would rape her. The accused kept her locked and would her her out only to toilets.
It was when one day Punni Khan raped her and left the door open in drunk state, She ran off to Gwalior with the help of a truck driver. The victim of love Jiihad reached the SSP office on Monday and sought security for herself. SSP Gwalior, Amit Sanghi has assured her of security.
