Ahead of Independence day terrorists attacked police party in summer capital city Srinagar on early Friday.
Sources told that terrorists fired upon a police party at Nowpora area of Srinagar city resulting in Injuries to three policemen.
Officials told that more reinforcement rushed to the area to nab the attackers and the whole area has been cordoned off by security joint team of security forces.
All the injured police men's were immediately refered to nearby hospital for special treatment.
Security forces were already put on alert ahead of independence day and more forces were deployed in and around the sensitive areas of Kashmir valley.
Searche operation was on in the area till the last reports came in.
