A BUTTON ACTUATED KNIFE ALSO RECOVERED FROM THEIR POSSESSION

With the arrest of two snatchers namely, (1) Aarif @ Sanu (Age- 19 Yrs)  S/o Md Manifest R/o A-41 Jahangir Puri, Delhi and (2) Baljeet @ Lucky (Age- 19 Yrs) S/o Surender Singh R/o B-9/Y A Block DDA Flat Jahangir Puri, Delhi Staff of PS Jahangir Puri recovered one button actuated knife & one snatched mobile phone from their possession.

Brief facts & incident details:
On 22.07.21, HC Kailash and CT Amarjeet of PS Jahangir Puri received a secret information that two snatchers were roaming in the area on scooty. Immediatiately, acting on this secret information, Police staff swung into action at once to avoid any untoward incident. The staff reached near Mangal bazar chowk and by displaying keen sense of alertness & swift response, apprehended two boys with a purple colored scooty. On enquiry, they were identified as (1) Aarif @ Sanu (Age- 19 Yrs)  S/o Md Manifest R/o A-41 Jahangir Puri, Delhi and (2) Baljeet @ Lucky (Age- 19 Yrs) S/o Surender Singh R/o B-9/Y A Block DDA Flat Jahangir Puri, Delhi. During their cursory search, one button actuated knife & one mobile phone were recovered from their possession. 

On verification, mobile phone was found snatched vide FIR No. 890/21 U/S 356/379/34 IPC Dt. 22.07.21 from PS Mahendra Park in which complainant’s mobile phone was snatched by two boys on scooty and fled away towards Jahngirpuri area. 

Accordingly, a case FIR No. 654/21 U/S 25/54/59 Arms Act & 411/34 IPC was registered in PS Jahangir Puri and investigation was taken up. Further efforts are being made to trace their involvement in other cases also.

1. Aarif @ Sanu (Age- 19 Yrs)  S/o Md Manifest R/o A-41 Jahangir Puri, Delhi.

2. Baljeet @ Lucky (Age- 19 Yrs) S/o Surender Singh R/o B-9/Y A Block DDA Flat Jahangir Puri, Delhi

Recovery:
1. One button actuated knife. 
2. One snatched mobile phone
