On Monday, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that 70% of India's adult population has been administrated first dose of covid-19 vaccine.

"Strong Nation, Rapid Vaccination: India has administrated the first dose of #COVID19 vaccination on 70% of the population. Under PM @Narendramodi ji, India is achieving new landmarks in the flight against the pandemic. Keep it up India, let us fight Corona,"  Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted.

As per Union Health Ministry, the government has administrated 90.79 crore vaccine does so far. While total of 23,46,176 does were administrated in the past 24 hours, more than 59.3 crore does have been administrated in the first 104 days, in what has been touted as the world's largest free-for-all vaccination which was launched on June 21 this year.

According to government data, the average daily doses administrated in a month has increased from 19.69 lakh in may to 39.89 lakh in june than, 43.41 lakh in July and to 59.19 lakh in August.

In september, the average daily vaccination has been 79.08 lakh per day.
