Kenya NDC Delegation Visits India for Defence Leadership Exchange

A 20-member delegation from Kenya's National Defence College, led by Brigadier Richard Wambua Mwanzia, visited the NDC in New Delhi on April 30, 2025. The visit aimed to enhance strategic ties and share best practices in defence leadership and military training.

A 20-member delegation from the National Defence College (NDC), Kenya, led by Brigadier Richard Wambua Mwanzia, Senior Directing Staff (Army), visited the National Defence College, New Delhi on 30 April 2025.

 

The visit was aimed at deepening strategic engagements, fostering mutual understanding, and promoting the exchange of best practices in national security, defence management, and military leadership.

 

During the interaction, both sides engaged in discussions on key regional and global security challenges, and shared insights on training methodologies and institutional frameworks.

 

The Kenyan delegation was also briefed on India’s strategic outlook, defence policies, and the role of the National Defence College in shaping senior leadership in the armed forces and civil services.

 

This visit forms part of a broader initiative to enhance military diplomacy and strengthen defence cooperation between India and Kenya, underscoring the shared commitment to peace, stability, and capacity-building in the Global South.(PR)
