Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 exam has been canceled after paper leak. The exam was scheduled to be held on November 28 at 10 am. As per the information received, the paper went viral on several WhatsApp groups in Mathura, Ghaziabad and Bulandshahr just before the commencement of the examination.
The exam was immediately canceled as soon as the news of the paper leak was received. Uttar Pradesh Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Law and Order, Prashant Kumar said, "The UPTET 2021 exam scheduled to be held today has been canceled due to alleged paper leak."
Giving further information, he said, 'STF has detained dozens of suspects in the paper leak case, investigation is going on. The UP government will conduct the re-examination within a month.
Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will conduct the UPTET exam again after one month. UPBEB has further notified that candidates will not have to pay any fee again for the exam. The exact date of UPTET exam will be notified in due course.
The Special Task Force (STF) of UP Police has started investigating the matter. Police is searching for all copying mafia and trying to catch it as soon as possible.
