Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan with two others who was detained by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 2 in a drug probe has now sent to NCB custody till October 7. The accused were presented in the court on Monday. 'Shocking, incriminating material’ was found on Aryan’s phone, NCB said.
Lawyer Satish Maneshinde, appearing for Aryan, had earlier said that no substance seized from his client was in contravention of the NDPS Act. “If any substance is seized from any other person (co-accused), that doesn’t make any ground to take my client into custody.”
The NCB had earlier said that there was material in the form of WhatsApp chats against the three, allegedly ‘suppliers on regular basis and showing nexus with peddlers'. The three are booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act related to the charges of consumption, possession, and sale of illegal substances.
Along with Aryan Khan 7 others was also arrested on October 7.
