While news reports and social media rumors have been doing the rounds that Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu has got a major relief from the Supreme Court, it has been said that the court has allowed an interim application seeking a CBI probe into the alleged corruption cases has been settled. But on meeting the petitioner Supreme Court Senior Advocate Dr. IM Quddusi and Supreme Court Advocate Mr. Jaber Singh, it is considered misleading.
Arunachal Justice Forum President Mr. Nabam Tagum has filed a Writ Petition (Criminal) No. 165/2021 against the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu in the Supreme Court of India. In which he filed several cases of corruption against the CM up to five thousand crore rupees, including undeclared assets, many illegal appointments in the state, misappropriation of funds, allotment of minerals and mining licenses to private companies without bidding, etc.
