A case which is from Hamirpur in Uttar Pradesh, which happened four years ago, has come to light. A young man named Abdul Momin, who was the husband of three begums, posing as Rajesh Yadav, trapped a Hindu girl in a love trap and got her converted. The girl was initially under the illusion that it was Rajesh Yadav, but when the curtain was removed from her eyes, after four years she ran away from him to save her life and pleaded with the Bajrang Dal workers.
The incident came to light on Tuesday when the victim's family members along with Bajrang Dal leader Ashish Singh reached the district superintendent of police with a complaint. Considering the seriousness of the matter, an inquiry has been ordered. In the complaint given to the police, the victim has told that the accused had befriended her through phone 4 years ago. During that time he described himself as Rajesh Yadav. The girl felt that she was also a Hindu and came under the same guise, she went ahead in the relationship with the accused.
When the accused felt that the girl was caught in his trap, he took her away from the house on the pretext of marriage. First took him to Balrampur. Then went to Mumbai where the girl was forcibly converted to Islam and married. After the marriage, the girl's name was changed to Ayesha Mobin. He also used to beat her. Time passed and the girl also had a child from the accused. Then one day suddenly he came to know that Abdul Mobin is already married. He had already married three girls as well.
Inspector PK Patel of Maudaha Kotwali said on Tuesday that a case has been registered against Tahrir under other sections including religious conversion.
