The Election Commission has not yet announced the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, but before that the political atmosphere of the state has heated up. Apart from the opposition Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati and Priyanka Vadra, the top leaders of the ruling BJP have been painted in electoral colors. Meanwhile, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday to participate in the booth convention of Kashi area and took a jibe at the governments of Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati.
Rajnath Singh shouted and said that Uttar Pradesh wants Baba, not aunt and babua. He said that BJP is going to form the government again after winning three-fourth seats in the Uttar Pradesh elections. Referring to the book of Congress leader Manish Tewari, he also asked questions to the Congress. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said about Congress leader Manish Tewari in his address that he has accepted in his book that after the terrorist attack in Mumbai, the Congress did not take strong steps against terrorism.
Rajnath Singh said that the then PM Rajiv Gandhi had expressed helplessness while referring to corruption. Rajiv Gandhi had said that we send 100 rupees and people get 15 paise. When PM Modi sends money, 100 paise out of 100 easily reaches people's bank accounts. Rajnath Singh praised CM Yogi fiercely. He said, in four-and-a-half years, 15,000 kms. More roads have been built. Now modern expressway is also being connected to every corner of the state. Fighter planes are landing on Purvanchal Expressway. Along with this, he also praised the UP government regarding the law and order situation.
Rajnath Singh said, Kashi region of Uttar Pradesh is the center of India's spiritual consciousness. This is the land of Baba Vishwanath, it is the place of worship of Mother Vindhyavasini, here is the abode of Mata Sheetla and Mother Annapurna has direct blessings on this area. Now the most joyful thing is that the idol of Mother Annapurna which was stolen and brought to foreign soil a hundred years ago, now that idol has been again installed in the courtyard of Kashi Vishwanath with the efforts of the government.
He said, it is the inspiration of Mother Annapurna that our Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken a pledge to provide free food grains to 80 crore poor families of the country under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana during the Corona period. Now that plan has been extended till Holi. Re-establishment of the idol of Mother Annapurna is an auspicious sign not only for Uttar Pradesh but for the whole of India. We have a belief that no one ever sleeps hungry with the blessings of Mother Annapurna.
Rajnath Singh said that Congress has done nothing to check corruption. In the matter of development, BJP has no competition with anyone. We will establish medical colleges in every district of the state in the coming time. He also took a jibe at Akhilesh Yadav. Rajnath Singh said that Akhilesh Yadav is creating Jinnah rage. But, Jinnah will be the father of Pakistan, not of India. They do politics of religion, caste, creed. They break the country. We take the entire society with us.
Rajnath Singh claimed that our government is sensitive to farmers. Under his rule, the farmers were fired upon. Our government does not want to use sticks and bullets on farmers. This was the reason why PM Modi did not delay in withdrawing the three agriculture laws. If we do not care about farmers, we would never do this. Rajnath Singh said that Uttar Pradesh does not want aunt and babua, but baba.
