NPCC is dismayed by the statement of Hon'ble Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio made during his visit to Mokokchung that the revocation order for regularization of 147 Assistant Professors was based on the Interim Report of the High Powered Committee (HPC) and that the final decision would be taken only after the HPC Final Report.
If the earlier flip-flop decisions of the Nagaland Cabinet were not enough, the Hon'ble Chief Minister has reduced the Cabinet decision to a joke by taking shelter under a committee constituted by it which is an added an insult to those aspirants seeking justice.
NPCC wishes to remind the Chief Minister that heading an opposition-less govt does not entitle him to keep shifting the goalposts and make a mockery of having a Cabinet meeting without being serious about the decisions taken. (PR)
