Two terrorists killed and two army soldiers injured in an encounter between terrorists and joint team of security forces in Sambora village of South Kashmir's Pulwama district, officials said.
Officials from army told that two terrorists were eliminated in an 17 hour long encounter which started with the terrorists which were hiding in a residential house in Sambora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district.
Yesterday afternoon after getting specific inputs about the presence of some terrorists in the area, a joint team of security forces in 50RR of Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police SOG and CRPF had launched a massive cordon and search operation in Samboora area and at around 4 o'clock contact was established with the hiding terrorists terigerring and encounter.
Officials also confirmed the killing of two terrorists in the area and says that the identification of terrorists is being assertained. Two AK47 arms and ammunition including war like stores were recovered from their possession.
Sources told that the killed terrorists were affiliated with Lashkar e Toiba terror outfit.
