On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with beneficiaries of the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa programme’ via video conferencing. PM Modi honor the development works in Goa by saying, today the state means a new model of a reflection and development of collective efforts.
On 1st October, 2020 the initiative of Swayampurna Goa was launched.
At the event PM Modi said, “Innovative, sensitive and responsible bureaucracy will benefit people. Goa means nature and tourism, but today it also means new model of development and a reflection of collective efforts.”
“The infrastructure being developed in Goa will also help in increasing the income of farmers, livestock farmers and fishermen. This year, the fund for modernization of rural infrastructure in Goa has been increased by five times as compared to earlier," he further added.
At the time of occation, Goa Chief minister Pramod Sawant was also present.
