Forces on Sunday morning launched a cordon and search operation in Tangmerg village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials told that a joint team of Army’s 29 RR, CRPF 176 BN , SOG sealed Khaipora Payeen area of Tangmerg and conducted house to house searches in the area.
One of the army officer also told that following inputs about the presence of some terrorists in the area swift cordon and search operation was launched, he said searches are underway in the area.
Meanwhile eyewitness told that security forces are present in the area and all entry and exit points have been sealed and door to door searches are going on in the area.
