An army jawan has been injured in an ongoing Encounter between terrorists and joint team of security forces in Charer-i- Shareef area of Central Kashmir's Budgam district.
Army official told that an Army soldier has been injured in ongoing encounter. He has been shifted to 92 Base hospital for specialized treatment.
Earlier, joint team of Police, Army and CRPF had launched a cordon and search operation in charar shareef area.
As the joint team encircled the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon them. The fire was retaliated by the joint team, triggering off an encounter.
