There is often a war of words between the BJP and Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. Which doesn't even seem to end. Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attacked Uddhav Thackeray for keeping his ambition to become the chief minister a secret and kept talking of appointing a 'Shiv Sainik' as the head of the state. On the occasion of Dussehra, Uddhav Thackeray targeted from PM Narendra Modi to RSS, as well as attacking NCB and also targeted BJP on the pretext of central investigative agencies.

After which Devendra Fadnavis hit back at Uddhav and said that the government headed by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is by far the most corrupt government in history. He said that the recovery software has also been exposed in the recent Income Tax raid in Maharashtra itself. The alerts used to go to the brokers about how much money to be recovered from whom.

Also, former CM Devendra Fadnavis dismissed the allegations of misuse of agencies and said that if it had done so, half of Uddhav Thackeray's cabinet would be behind bars. He also said in a stern tone that he will never allow Maharashtra to become Bengal. BJP will never allow this to happen.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar said he had insisted Uddhav Thackeray to become the chief minister of Maharashtra after Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) was formed around two years ago.

On Saturday, Pawar’s remarks came after BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis claimed Thackeray covertly nurtured ambitions to become a CM but kept talking about installing a “Shiv Sainik” on the post. Earlier in the day, Fadnavis, who served as Maharashtra chief minister between 2014 and 2019, had alleged that the MVA government was formed through dishonesty.

Further, Pawar said, 'Thackeray was chosen by the leaders of all the three parties. Apart from me, many people contributed to the MVA. When we had a meeting to discuss the formation of the MVA and the leadership of the alliance, I asked him to be the chief minister. I have seen these people since childhood. Balasaheb Thackeray and I had political differences, but we were close to each other.

I wondered why the son of the person who contributed for Maharashtra could not become the chief minister, and I urged Uddhav Thackeray to become the chief minister. Fadnavis has worked with Uddhav so he knows how Uddhav is. He should stop repeatedly asking how Uddhav became the chief minister. Let us tell you that before this statement of Sharad Pawar, on Saturday, Devendra Fadnavis had alleged that the MVA government was formed in an unethical manner.
