Two Jammu Kashmir policemen martyred and another injured when terrorists attacked police party in this summer capital Srinagar on Friday morning .
Officials told that terrorists fired upon the police party near Nowgam Byepass injuring three cops who were immediately shifted to nearby police hospital. However two of them succumbed to their injuries.
Police in a tweet also confirmed the killing of the policemen in the attack and they have been identified as Ishfaq Ayoub and Fayaz Ahmad, both from IRP’s 20 batallion.
The another police jawan who was injured in the attack has been identified as Mohammad Ashraf.
Soon after the terrorist attack the whole area has been cordoned off by Joint team of Security forces and it's adjacent areas area also being searched to nab attackers.
Ahead of independence day security forces had been put on alert to foil any terrorist attack as terrorists are trying to create disturbances on the occasion.
Soon after the attack inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar visited the site of attack and while talking to media he says that Jaish (JeM) terror outfit are behind the attack.
