Turkey-Pakistan in Grey List: Turkey collapsed in front of India's diplomacy, FATF put Pakistan in grey list

On Thursday Global terror Financial Action Task Force (FATF) retained Pakistan on its 'Grey List' of countries. The humiliation of India's neighboring country and rival Pakistan, is boycotted at the global level, and being thrashed in the world due to terrorism is not a new thing. Something similar happened this time too. Therefore, FATF has placed Pakistan in the grey list for harboring terrorism, as well as Turkey has also been put in the 'grey list' for supporting Pakistan on the issue of Kashmir.

Pakistan's Hum-Dum Dost and religious guru Turkey has also been included in the gray list by FATF. Its chief Marcus Player said Pakistan is still on the gray list for additional monitoring. Pakistan has not yet acted on four out of the 34-point agenda of the FATF.

As per the news published from Paris by 'The News International', the three-day session of FATF is being organized from October 19 to 21. There is a possibility that Pakistan has not yet met the FATF norms. The news quoted sources in the German media organization Deutsche Welle as saying that the decision to remove Pakistan from the 'grey list' could be taken in the next session of the FATF to be held in April 2022.

Pakistan has failed to act on the recommendations of FATF. During this time, terrorist organizations in Pakistan have received financial help from abroad and domestically.

FATF has also placed Turkey, which supported Pakistan on the Kashmir issue, in the grey list. Turkey is accused of negligence in monitoring and acting on terror financing.

Marcus Plier said – Turkey will have to be more strict in the high risk sector. Especially banking, precious stones and real estate will have to be monitored. The same is the case with Jordan and Mali. Turkey has to deal strictly with money laundering cases. Broadly speaking, this is a big blow to the Turkish President Erdogan, who has mellowed Imran's Kashmir melody.

The FATF is an international body that, while interfering in financial matters such as money laundering and terror funding, sets guidelines for all countries and determines how to curb countries that promote financial crimes.
