Today the agitators led by the United Kisan Morcha will protest against the dismissal of Ajay Mishra alias Teni, the father of the accused of Lakhimpur violence and Minister of State for Home.
On 26th October 2021, 11 months are being completed for the farmers' movement against the 3 agricultural laws of the Modi government. Till now 11 rounds of talks have been held with the government of farmer organizations on the issue of these laws, which have been inconclusive. The demand of the farmer agitators is to repeal the laws remains the same.
Today the agitators led by the United Kisan Morcha will protest against the dismissal of Ajay Mishra alias Teni, the father of the accused of Lakhimpur violence and Minister of State for Home. There will be meetings at the Delhi border. A memorandum will be sent to President Ram Nath Kovind on behalf of the Kisan Front. Kisan Morcha has submitted a memorandum to President Ram Nath Kovind regarding this.
The memorandum to be sent to President Kovind reads- "The manner in which the investigation is being conducted in the Lakhimpur Kheri farmer massacre that took place on October 3, 2021 (after which more than 3 weeks have elapsed) has caused the entire country to be disappointed and The Supreme Court has already made many adverse remarks regarding this incident.
"Importantly, the country is shocked by the lack of ethics of the central government of Narendra Modi, where Ajay Mishra continues to be the Minister of State in the Council of Ministers. The vehicle used in the incident of killing of farmers in broad daylight belongs to the minister. The minister is on record in at least three videos from before October 3, 2021, which promote communal disharmony and hatred," the memorandum added.
Let us tell you that during the demonstration of farmer organizations, there was violence in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh on 3 October. In which a total of 8 people including four farmers were killed. Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra's son Ashish Mishra and 12 others were arrested in connection with the incident.
Local farmers blamed his son for the violence. According to farmers, a vehicle that was part of the minister's convoy crushed several farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri in north-central Uttar Pradesh.
