Bihar assembly election held on October 28, November 3 and 7,the count of voting and declaration of result November 10. The Election commission said the polls will be held on three phases due to Covid 19 pandemic and code of conduct come into Bihar’s 243 member to set in October 29 2020. The first phase of voting 71 assembly in 16 districts in polls . second phase of voting in 94 in 7 districts and last phase voting will be 78 in 15 districts
Chief Elections commissioner Sunil Arora said Elections involved large scale of security forces and tried to increase distance due to covid 19 , reduces the number of phases . He said that several things to be measures to ensure the safety of leaders and voters. The polling has been 7am to 6pm and last hour will be for those who are quarantined. Arora said Bihar polls is the largest conducted elections which 72 million electors in the states
