BRIEF FACTS:-
On 18.06.2021, the complainant Bal Bahadur R/o Balaji Lodge Fool Market, Hyderabad, Telangana, age 42 yrs reported in his complaint that today he came to Delhi from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. At about 9:00 AM, he was going on foot towards Chhata Rail, Red Light from Red Fort. When he reached near Red Fort Metro Station Gate No 3, three boys came and one choked his neck from behind and other robbed his mobile phone from his hand, his wallet containing Rs 3,500/ cash and documents etc and cash Rs. 28,500/- from the pocket of his pant. After committing robbery, they escaped from the spot. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No 551/21, u/s 392/34 IPC was registered in PS Kotwali and investigation was taken up.
TEAM & INVESTIGATION:
A team comprising SI Neeraj, I/c PP Red Fort, ASI Surender Prakash, HC Mukesh, Ct Amit was constituted under the leadership of Inspr. Ritu Raj, SHO/PS Kotwali and close supervision of Sh. Uma Shankar, ACP/Kotwali. The team conducted technical investigation at the spot of incident and laid their sources to get any clue about the culprits.
The efforts bore fruits and the team strategically nabbed two accused namely Harsh S/o Sh. Vinod, age 22 yrs and Mukesh @ Fauji S/o Om Shanker, 23 yrs were arrested from Old Lajpat Rai Market near Red Fort Delhi on 18.06.2021. Total Rs 22,800/- cash was recovered from their possession.
Later, the team also arrested their third associate Aman @ Nepali, age 22 years on 19.06.2021. A purse containing Rs 3,500/- cash, one mobile phone of the complainant etc recovered.
INTERROGATION:
During interrogation, it disclosed that the accused persons are desperate criminals with criminal history. They are alcoholic and drug addicts and commit the crime to fund their addiction. They used to sell the stolen property to any passerby.
DETAIL OF ACCUSED PERSONS:
Harsh S/o Sh. Vinod R/o Khajuri, Delhi, age 22 yrs (Previously found involved in Robbery and theft cases registered in PS Kotwali, PS Kashmere Gate and PS Lahori Gate. He was released from jail in May, 2021)
Mukesh @ Fauji S/o Om Shanker R/o New Seelampur, Delhi, 23 yrs (Previously found involved in theft cases of PS Seelampur. He was released from jail in March, 2020)
Aman @ Nepali R/o Jhuggi Old Lajpat Rai Market near Red Fort, Delhi, age - 22 Years. (His antecedents are being verified)
RECOVERY:
Cash Rs 22,800/- recovered from the possession of Harsh and Mukesh @ Fauji.
A Purse containing Rs 3,500/ cash, mobile phone of complainant & identity card of complainant recovered from the possession of Aman @ Nepali.
