In response to incidents of booth capturing and vandalism of EVM machines during the previous voting on April 19, 2024, the Chief Electoral Officer of Arunachal Pradesh has announced fresh polls to be conducted in four constituencies on 24 April 2024. Voting commenced today, starting at 6 am and continued until 2 pm this afternoon.

The affected districts and constituencies include:

1. East Kameng district: 

 - Constituency: 8-Bameng 

   - Polling Station: 40—Sario

2. Kurung Kumey district:

   - Constituency: 19-Nyapin 

   - Polling Station: 13 —Langte Loth

3. Upper Subansiri District:

   - Constituency: 22 - Nacho 

   - Polling Stations: 22-Dinser, 33-Bogia Siyum, 34-Jimbari, 45-Lengi

4. Siang district:

   - Constituency: 32- Rumgong 

   - Polling Stations: 19-Bogne, 22-Molom
