ROBBERY CASE WORKED OUT WITHIN TWO HOURS OF INCIDENT

With the arrest of two desperate criminals namely, (1) Jayaram Mandal (Age-29 years) S/o Fuleshwar Mandal R/o Vill-Mahuliya, Post-Kumarkhat, Ladania, Madhubani, Bihar and (2) Mahanand Mandal (Age-24 years) S/o Haridev Mandal  R/o Vill-Mahuliya, Post-Kumarkhat, Madhubani, Bihar, joint teams of North-West District comprising of Special Staff & PS Model  Town solved the robbery case within two hours and recovered robbed cash Rs. 50000/- and i-phone of the victim recovered from their possession. 

Brief Facts & Incident details:
On 15.7.21, a PCR call was received in PS Model Town and, on enquiry, it was revealed that two servants robbed cash and i-phone of their employer by overpowering him in his house and fled away.
Accordingly a case FIR No. 417/21, u/s 392/394/34 IPC was registered in PS Model Town and investigation was taken up. 

Team & Operation:
Considering the sensitivity, gravity and nature of incident, a joint team of Spl.Staff/NWD & PS Model Town comprising of SI Manjeet, SI Satwant, SI Himanshu along with staff was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Vipul Anekant, ACP/Model Town, and overall supervision of undersigned. The team was tasked to immediately nab the culprits involved in this case.

The team immediately raided several locations in Azadpur Village, based on the technical surveillance and gathered local intelligence. The team succeeded in nabbing both the accused namely, (1) Jayaram Mandal (Age-29 years) S/o Fuleshwar Mandal R/o Vill-Mahuliya, Post-Kumarkhat, Ladania, Madhubani, Bihar and (2) Mahanand Mandal (Age-24 years) S/o Haridev Mandal R/o Vill-Mahuliya, Post-Kumarkhat, Madhubani, Bihar. Robbed cash Rs. 50000/- and i-phone of the victim recovered from their possession. 

On sustained interrogation, they confessed their involvement in this case. They were working as servants in the house of an elderly who lives with family. On day of incident, victim was alone at home and seeing this opportunity, both servants (who used to live in servant quarter on 3rd floor of same house since 3-4 years) overpowered him and looted cash & his I-Phone and fled away. Consequently, they were arrested. With the swift response and intelligence of teams of North-West District, this case was solved within 2 hours of registration.

1. Rs. 50000/- 
2. I-Phone of the victim

Further investigation of the case is in progress.
