One terrorist was arrested in injured condition in an encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in southern region of Kashmir on Thursday morning.
Officials told that a joint team of army's 3 Rashtriya Rifles SOG and CRPF sealed Gund Baba area of Anantnag following inputs about the presence of some terrorists in the area.
He said searching party was fired by hiding terrorists thus triggering a gunfight.
Police in a tweet also confirmed this encounter and said Encounter started between terrorists & police/security forces at Gund Baba Khaleel, Anantnag today early morning. One local HM Militant Zaheer Abbas Lone r/o Pulwama arrested in injured condition & shifted to hospital. @JmuKmrPolice.
Meanwhile security forces said that it is a good success for them as indian army's 3 RR has done this operation tactically and are continuously trying to get their respected areas terrorism free.
In previous times 3RR has done good operations under operation all out and have neutralized many wanted terrorists active in Anantnag areas. They said that the operations will continue till our area is being fully sanitized from terrorism.
