However, a fact-check conducted by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has confirmed that the video is not related to any recent event in India or Pakistan. In reality, the footage is from the devastating explosion that took place in Beirut Lebanon in the year 2020.
The Beirut blast was one of the most powerful non-nuclear explosions in history caused by the accidental detonation of ammonium nitrate stored at the port. The tragic incident resulted in hundreds of deaths and widespread destruction. Unfortunately the visuals from that catastrophic event are now being misused to spread fear and false narratives.
