ONE LADY BOOTLEGGER ARRESTED WITH HUGE QUANTITY OF ILLICIT LIQUOR

BRIEF FACTS:
On 17.07.2021, ASI Raj Kumar of Spl. Staff, North District received secret information through sources that one lady, BC of PS Wazirabad namely Sulekha, would receive a high quantity of illicit liquor at her house. 

Upon this information, a raiding party comprising of SI Vineet Kumar, HC Arjun Singh, Ct. Ajay, HC Jagom, W/HC Sunita, Ct. Ravinder & Ct. Vineet was constituted, under the leadership of Inspr. Raj Kumar Malik, I/c Ops. Cell & guidance of Sh. Jaipal Singh, ACP/Ops.

As per information, at about 12:05 PM, the team conducted a raid at the house of Sulekha and recovered total 17 cartons containing 850 quarter of illicit liquor outside her house.

On sustained interrogation, arrested accused disclosed her name as Sulekha, age 38 yrs Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 543/21, u/s 33 Delhi Excise Act has been registered in PS Wazirabad and investigation was taken up.

INTERROGATION: 
During interrogation, it disclosed that the lady is a History Sheeter of PS Wazirabad. She further disclosed that she received the consignment of illicit liquor from one Raju Langada R/o Bhalaswa Dairy, Delhi, who used to bring liquor in his vehicle & supply the same to her. She further sells the same in local area. 

DETAILS OF ACCUSED PERSON: 
• Sulekha R/o Hardev Nagar, Surender Colony, Jhardoa Majra, Burari, Delhim, Age-38 Years. (She is History Sheeter (BC) of PS Wazirabad with a history of involvement in 05 cases of Obstructing Public Servant on duty and Excise Act registered in PS Burari, PS Wazirabad and PS Sultanpuri. Last time she was released from jail in February, 2019) 

RECOVERY:
• Total 17 cartons containing 850 quarter bottles of illicit liquor
