Organization Medical Oxygen for All handed over Basic Life Support Ambulance to Dr.Wennyei Konyak, Deputy Resident Commissioner, Nagaland in New Delhi. 


Medical Oxygen for All (MOfA) NGO, is working at the forefront of providing medical grade oxygen concentrators to the states and facilities that need it the most during the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic and is now working on improving healthcare infrastructure in the remotest districts of India. 

Addressing the press and the media on the occasion Deputy Resident Commissioner stated “We thank Medical Oxygen for All for doing selfless work and supporting remote districts such as Mon. We encourage other such initiatives also to help us improve the healthcare infrastructure in the state. MOfA’s contribution is priceless”.

He also highlighted the utility of a 4x4 vehicle in remote areas such as Mon “These vehicles are suitable for difficult terrain and would help us provide emergency response services to underserved sub-divisions in Mon district.”


Speaking on the occasion Mr. Jatin Gupta, Co-Founder, Medical Oxygen for All, said that “Our objective is to provide support to the most backward and underserved districts in India that are usually out of the limelight. Towards this effort, we have tied up with district administration in remotest districts of India and we are supporting them in upgrading healthcare infrastructure in the district”

He added “We have also got support from MapMyIndia, an Indian technology company that builds digital map data and location-based SaaS and GIS AI technologies. This ambulance is fitted with a GPS device that would provide real-time data to the district administration and help them track the usage of the ambulance. We also intended to provide support to the district in optimizing the utilization of these ambulances with data analysis and application of AI-based tools”

Jatin Gupta added, “We are a group of professionals having our day jobs and till now we have raised more than 6 crore Rupees, delivered over 800 Oxygen Concentrators in over 60 districts and now we intend to provide ambulances and upgrade critical healthcare infrastructure to districts in need".

Tata Yodha 4x4 vehicle retrofitted into an ambulance to provide basic life support. 


Features of the Ambulance 

1. Auto Loader Stretcher cum trolley

2. Scoop stretcher for extreme trauma cases

3. Spine board model for patients needing stabilization support

4. Overhead rack with sliding glass for storage

5. Driver and a patient cabin partition

6. Sitting space sufficient to accommodate 4-5 persons

7. Air conditioning system for patient cabin

8. GPS enabled 


Purpose of the Ambulance

a. Transporting critical patients (COVID and non-COVID) in need of life support

b. Enabling COVID testing and immunization programs in far / flung areas.

c. Outreach & Awareness Sessions in all villages under CHC / PHC

d. Picking up medical supplies from the Department of Health & Family Welfare station

 e. Supplementing Village Health and Nutrition days under the PHC /CHCs



About Medical Oxygen for All

Medical Oxygen for All is a non-profit volunteer initiative, started by a group of Indians located in India and Australia. Their focus is to source medical-grade oxygen concentrators and other critical care equipment from across the world and deliver these to identified districts in India and ensure their effective deployment with the help of local district authorities. 

They are employees and alumni of top tier professional services firms (McKinsey, HerbertSmithFreehills), investment banks (Goldman Sachs), top tier educational institutions (INSEAD, IIT, IIM, BITS-Pilani), and tech companies (Canva, Atlassian, Myntra, Zomato, Grab, SiteMinder, Upcover)


To date, MOfA has raised more than 6 crore Rupees, delivered over 800+ Oxygen Concentrators in over 60 districts, and now intends to provide emergency response services to remotest districts in India.
