The Indian Army had organized a “Career Counseling And Reorientation Workshop for the
Youth of Pulwama district”. The significant event was scheduled from 26 Feb 2024 to 11 Mar 2024 at Govt Degree College, Pulwama and was conducted in collaboration with Musuada Foundation. The workshop was meticulously crafted to empower the youth with educational enrichment, skill development, various employment opportunities available and on Drug menace. The event provided an opportunity to engage the youth of South Kashmir with an aim to inculcate a sense of Nationalism and to encourage them for active participation in Nation Building. During the workshop, significant emphasis was placed on the vital role of youth in community and National development.
Professor Irfana Rasool, Vice Principal, Govt Degree College, Pulwama presided over the event and addressed the gathering. She exhorted the youth to constructively engage themselves in shaping their future by honing skills which will assist in fulfilling their dreams and asked the youth to actively participate in the Nation Building. She also emphasized on various govt aided schemes available for the youth to start their own business as “Start Ups” and narrated the success story of “ Sweet Revolutionist of Kashmir”,Mr Narim Nazir, resident of Samboora, Pulwama, a local entrepreneur & Beekeeper and the youth icon who have generated numerous job opportunities for the youth of Kashmir. She further said that today is the era of innovative & creative mindset, one with entrepreneurial spirit and who embraces risk will be able to overcome all the challenges and will become a job creator. In the end, she expressed her gratitude and thanked Indian Army for providing a conducive platform and unwavering support to the Youth of Kashmir.
Meanwhile from time to time Indian army has always helped the unemployed youth of South Kashmir and offered them skill development courses so that they can earn their livelihood. People from all walks of life have much appreciated this effort by Indian Army and told that these wounderful initiatives should be taken in future also
