In a noteworthy step to address the healthcare needs of local communities, the Indian Army, in cooperation with District Medical Authorities, organized two medical camps in Manipur. The camps were held on November 29 at T Kananphai village in Siden, Churachandpur, and on November 30 at the Community Hall in Saiton Bazaar, Bishnupur.

The medical camps were managed with support from District Hospitals and featured a crew of Army doctors, including lady doctors and a gynecologist, along with blood testing facilities. Residents received detailed health check-ups and essential medications, ensuring access to vital healthcare services at no cost.

Over the two days, more than 813 individuals from all age groups benefited from this scheme. This effort highlights the Army’s promise to provide timely medical assistance and promote healthier communities.

The Indian Army continues to extend its aid to local populations, boosting ties and contributing to improved living conditions in the region. (PR)
