Husband gave teen talaq(Divorce) to wife over a video call, social media took a place instead of presence

To prevent atrocities on Muslim women, the BJP government brought a law against triple talaq, after which three divorce cases had come down, but recently a new case has come up in which the woman was talking to her husband over video call and, while being on the call husband gave her triple talaq.

The case is related to Kahalgaon police station area of Bhagalpur district of Bihar where a case of divorcing of women of Muslim community got a divorce on the video call has come to light. According to the information, the woman was constantly being harassed by her husband and in laws since marriage.

The woman alleges that for the last 2 months she has been going to the police station continuosly but the police did not listen to her, after this the woman met Sujit Kumar in the DIG office and pleaded for justice. The DIG, after hearing the victim's object, entrusted the responsibility of investigating the case to senior SP Ashish Bharti, and assured the victim of appropriate action.
