Recovered arms and ammunition in Thanamandi 


Security forces have busted a terrorist hideout in Thanamandi area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Jointly launched a massive search operation after getting specific inputs about the said hideout , security forces including army and Jammu and Kashmir Police successfully busted the hideout of terrorists and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition including one Pika gun (sniper riffle) along with ammunition,two pistols, generator set and other war like stores. Meanwhile Thanamandi is the area which is close to the Line of control where terrorists are continuously trying to infiltrate into the Indian territory however the timely action by Indian Army are giving them befitting reply and sending them back or killing them near the LOC. 
   Police has registered a case in this regard under relevant sections and have started further investigation into the matter.
