Today (5th May, 2022), a big terror plot has been broke by the Haryana Police as they arrested 4 Khalistani terrorists of Babbar Khalsa from Karnal. A sustainable amount of bullets, weapons, tiffin bombs, and containers of ammo have been recovered from them. It is suspected that the gunpowder could also be RDX.
It is being told that the four suspects were around the age of 20-25 years. They four belong to the Punjab-based terror outfit Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). They were on their way from Punjab to Nanded in Maharashtra. A joint operation between Haryana Police and IB Punjab Police was launched to catch them.
“On credible intelligence input, 4 terror suspects including 3 belonging to Ferozepur & 1 from Ludhiana detained near Bastara toll Plaza. Explosives were recovered from them along with other arms & ammunition. Accused identified as Gurpreet, Amandeep, Parminder and Bhupinder,” SP Karla said.
“The accused were in touch with a Pak-based man who asked them to drop arms & ammunition at Adilabad, Telagana. Accused Gurpreet received explosives sent from across the border using a drone in Ferozepur district. Earlier, they dropped explosives at Nanded. FIR registered,” he added.
