Farmer Protest- Five names has been given for the committee of MSP, No name of Rakesh Tikait

One of the objectives of the farmers' movement was that the three agricultural laws should be withdrawn, the government has withdrawn all the three agricultural laws, obeying the farmers. That is, the legal guarantee on MSP, after which Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar had also agreed that the United Kisan Morcha should form a committee of five people, after which further discussions, consultations and further guidelines were decided with them.

Today, the United Kisan Morcha has decided five names by meeting, the important meeting of the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) running on the Singhu border is over. The United Kisan Morcha has fixed the names of 5 people for the committee to be formed to negotiate with the government on MSP.

At the same time, the next meeting of the United Kisan Morcha will be held on December 7. A 5-member committee consisting of Shiv Kumar Kakka, Gurnam Singh Chaduni, Yudhveer Singh, Balbir Singh Rajewal and Ashok Dhawale has been formed in the committee formed by the United Kisan Morcha to negotiate with the government on MSP.

It is noteworthy that the name of farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has not been included in the 5-member committee to be formed for talks with the government on MSP.

After the meeting of United Kisan Morcha (SKM) on the Singhu border, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait said that the committee constituted on MSP will talk to the government on every issue. Earlier on Thursday, the United Kisan Morcha had said that the "standoff" between farmers and the government was continuing as the Centre was forcing them to stay at the protest sites without giving any formal message regarding their pending demands.

SKM, an organization of farmers' unions, had said in a statement that farmers are waiting patiently for positive progress and for the government to accept their legitimate demands. Their demands include a legal guarantee on the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops and compensation to the families of farmers killed during the agitation.
