Fabindia the clothing brand has removed a tweet promoting their new collection of Diwali after being heavily trolled on social media. The brand was accused of 'demolishing' the Hindu festival of Diwali and terming it Jashn-e-Riwaaz. Many people slammed the brand for unnecessarily uplifting secularism and Muslim ideologies in a Hindu festival.

The trend of Islamization agenda in Hindu festivals is increasing day by day. Sometimes a brand like Tanishq promotes love jihad, As well as some days Bollywood sages who make anti-Hindu rhetoric to make themselves look like the messiah of Islam. They probably do not know if Hindus start raising their voice, then their shoplifting will stop completely. With Diwali approaching, once again the festive season campaign of Fabindia, a clothing, lifestyle and home decor brand, has created a ruckus. Actually, 'Jashn-e-Riwaj' campaign has been started by Fabindia on festivals. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha national president Tejashwi Surya said that Diwali is not a 'celebration-e-rival'.

Fabindia tweeted- 'As we welcome the festival of love and light, Jashn-e-Riyaz by FabIndia is a collection that beautifully salutes Indian culture.' However, after the ruckus, Fabindia has deleted its tweet.

In fact, while launching the campaign 'Jashn-e-Riwaj', FabIndia said in a vogue report- As we welcome the festival oflights and love, 'Jashn-e-Riwaj' by Fabindia is one such collection. It beautifully salutes Indian culture; A collection that embraces the color, atmosphere and personality of the country.

FabIndia said, “This Diwali we are all grateful to be surrounded by friends and family. This collection embodies the sense of belonging, urges you to embrace the craft. There is no reason why celebrating our roots by honoring our artisans should not be a part of everyday conversation.

After this the boycott started on Twitter, wrote a user

Prashant Umrao BJP UP spokesperson tweeted, "Fab India clothes are very expensive and become useless once washed, need to move to other brands."

Fab India clothes are overpriced & after one wash look like rags. Need to go for other brands.

MP from Bangalore, Tejashwi Surya, tweeted, 'Deepawali festival is not a celebration. Hindu festivals are being deliberately Abrahamized. Models are also not in traditional Hindu clothes. It should be opposed and boycotted. Any brand like FabIndia should bear the financial loss for such an act.'

Tejashwi Surya wrote these things while retweeting the tweet of FabIndia. In a tweet dated 9 October by FabIndia, some male and female models were shown in saris and kurta pyjamas. Also the company wrote – We are welcoming the festival of love and lights. Presenting Jashn-e-Riwaj collection from FabIndia.
