In India, dengue outbreak is going on for few days now. Many youths including many children lost their lives. In order to save the citizens of the country from the dengue. Lucknow Central Drug Research Institute, has got success. Let us tell you that the scientists doing research on dengue have made its medicine.

Now the trial of drug made against dengue will be done in medical colleges. Where SN Medical College of Agra is also included. There is no cure for dengue yet. It is treated on the basis of symptoms.

Scientists have succeeded in making dengue medicine. As per the information received from the sources, permission has also been given to conduct clinical trials of the drug on patients. Trial is to be done on 10 thousand dengue patients in 20 centers of the country. These will include GSVM, King George's Medical University, Lucknow along with SN Medical College, Agra.

Each center will test the drug on 100 patients. If sources are to be believed, a big pharmaceutical company in Mumbai was engaged in preparing the drug. This medicine is based on plants. It is being called 'Purified Aqueous Extract of Cuculus hirsutus'. The tendency of the drug is anti-viral. The results of lab testing of the drug and experiments on rats have been successful. The company has also got permission for human trials from the Drug Controller General of India.

Let us tell you that there will be a trial of dengue medicine in many places in the country. Trial preparations are going on in 20 medical colleges of the country.

Also, some conditions have been kept before the trial. The age of the dengue patient should be above 18 years. Also, dengue should have been confirmed 48 hours earlier in the patient. As you may know, the patient will be kept in the hospital for eight days during the trail. Along with this, he will be given a dose of medicine for seven days. Explain that during the treatment, it will be kept under observation till 17 days later.

“So far, no pharmaceutical company has approached for a trial in this regard. No such information has been received from the government level also. The contract for the trial is done between the company and the medical college. It is also necessary to take permission of the government," SNMC Principal Dr. Prashant Gupta said.
