On 4th May, 2022 (Wednesday), India has recorded 3,205 new covid-19 cases in the 24 hours, the Union Health Minister said. At the same time, India has logged 31 covid fatalities taking the toll to 5,23,920.
As per the Health Ministry, the daily positivity rate stood at 1.07 percent, whereas the weekly positivity rate was 0.70 percent. Therefore, active cases presently stand at 19,509 in the country.
Today, Mizoram has reported 44 new covid cases, and tally reaches to 2,27,600 . As no new covid death has been reported in the last 24 hours the death toll stays at 697 cases.
With the new cases, Delhi’s overall covid-19 tally has increased to 18,87,050. Delhi has reported 1,414 covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Therefore one person died of coronavirus since yesterday. The positivity rate fell to 5.97 percent as per the data shared by the city health department.
