Prime Minister Boris Johnson will resign amid the political upheaval in Britain. More than 50 of his ministers and MPs have resigned in the last 48 hours. The mistrust against the government is increasing so much that Michelle Donelan, who was made minister 36 hours ago, also resigned.

Till Wednesday evening, 17 cabinet ministers, 12 parliamentary secretaries and 4 foreign government representatives had signed up.

Johnson's ministers and lawmakers were constantly questioning his way of working. Along with this, during the lockdown, there was a lot of controversy over the liquor party he organised and sexual abuse accused MP Chris Pincher as Deputy Chief Whip. Because of this, there was more discontent against him.

However, seeing the controversy growing, Johnson admitted on Tuesday that his decision to include Pincher in the government was wrong. He also apologized for this. Minutes after the PM apologized, both the ministers resigned. Johnson's confidant Deputy Chief Whip Chris Pincher was embroiled in a sex scandal on June 30. He had also resigned. But party people allege that there are 6 cases of sexual misconduct against Pincher. The ministers who resigned allege that PM Johnson knew all this.
