BJP OBC Morcha's special campaign "Ghar Ghar Chalo, Gaon Gaon Chalo" was launched on 9th April 2023 at Loitang Khunau, Sekmai Assembly Constituency by Manipur MLA of Sekmai Assembly Constituency and Minister of Social Welfare, Government of Manipur Shri Heikham Dingo Singh and Shri. Surendra Badliya S Incharge of Manipur and Assam.
According to the statement, the "Ghar Ghar Chalo, Gaon Gaon Chalo" campaign was launched with the aim to check whether the schemes launched by the BJP government reach every household or not.
Speaking in this regard, Shri Heikham Dingo Singh said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Government led by Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh in Manipur has successfully launched the majority of the schemes. He urged people to avail the benefits provided by the Ghar Ghar Chalo, Gaon Gaon Chalo campaign and take this opportunity to know about the various schemes for which they are eligible.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Surendra Badliya S emphasized the importance of the Ghar Ghar Chalo, Gaon Gaon Chalo campaign. He said, "This campaign is like going door-to-door with the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister asking about the well-being of the families." He also commented on the role of BJP workers and the way they behave creates an impression of the party for the public. He said that even though he is a minister, he is only a BJP worker.
State President of BJP OBC Morcha RK Nongdrenkhomba Meetei, representatives of Sekmai Assembly Constituency BJP Mandal, OBC Morcha SC Morcha and BJYM Sekmai Mahila Morcha, ST Morcha etc. participated. The campaign is set to conclude on 14th April 2023.
