A NOTORIOUS AUTO-LIFTER & 2 ROBBERS NABBED BY 2 TEAMS OF SPECIAL STAFF/ NORTH-WEST DISTRICT

In view of recent incidents of snatching & theft using illegal firearms by criminals, teams were created in North-West District to nab the culprits involved in such incidents. On 20.7.21, two teams led by Insp. Amit Kumar of special Staff/ North-West District nabbed 3 desperate criminals namely, (1) Nikhil @ Mota (Age- 24 Yrs) S/o Rajesh Kumar R/o S-435, Mangolpuri, Delhi, (2) Vikas @ Vicky (Age- 26 Yrs) S/o Santu Verma R/o N-15/C-157, Indra Vikas Colony, Delhi and (3) Vipin (Age-25 Yrs) S/o Dharampal R/o N-15/B-122, Indira Vikas Colony, Delhi and recovered two mobile phones, two scooties, one motorcycle, 2 country made pistols & 3 live cartridges from their possession.

One team comprising of SI Yashpal, HC Somdutt, Ct. Ankush & Ct. Rohit of Special Staff/ North-West District received a secret information that a criminal with illegal firearm will come at Jahangirpuri on Bike who may commit some crime. Immediately, team of Special Staff reached at I-J Block, Jahangirpuri and on pointing out by informer, nabbed one motorcycle rider by displaying keen sense of alertness & shift response. He was identified as Nikhil @ Nikhil @ Mota (Age- 24 Yrs) S/o Rajesh Kumar R/o S-435, Mangolpuri, Delhi. During his cursory search, one country made pistol loaded with one cartridge was recovered from his possession. On verification of Pulsar bike, it was found stolen vide eFIR No. 012121/21 U/S 379 IPC PS Model Town. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 886/21 dated. 20.7.21 U/S 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Jahangir Puri and investigation was taken up. During investigation, one TVS Jupiter scooty was also recovered on his instance, which was found stolen vide eFIR No. 019211/21 dated 19.7.21 U/S 379 IPC PS Jahangir Puri. The said accused Nikhil @ Mota was arrested in this case. He was previously found involved in another case of Auto-theft in PS Mangolpuri. Further efforts are being made to trace his involvement in other cases also. 

In another incident, team comprising of SI Vijender Nagar, HC Narsi, Ct. Pardeep & Ct. Gulshan of Special Staff/ North-West District received a secret information that two criminals were roaming on scooty in the area of Sangam Park, Bharat Nagar, with illegal firearm and they may commit some offence. Immediately, team of Special Staff reached near underpass Sangam Park, Bharat Nagar and on pointing out by informer, nabbed two persons by displaying keen sense of alertness & shift response. They were identified as (1) Vikas @ Vicky (Age- 26 Yrs) S/o Santu Verma R/o N-15/C-157, Indra Vikas Colony, Delhi and (2) Vipin (Age-25 Yrs) S/o Dharampal R/o N-15/B-122, Indira Vikas Colony, Delhi. During their cursory search, one Country made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from their possession. Also recovered two mobile phones, out of which one mobile phone of make-MI was found snatched vide FIR No. 570/21 U/S 356/379/34 IPC PS Mahendra Park and another mobile phone of make-Motorola was found stolen vide eFIR No. 0319/21 U/S 379 IPC PS Jahangir Puri. Consequently, a case vide FIR No. 370/21 dated 21.7.21 U/S 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Bharat Nagar and investigation was taken up. Both accused Vikas @ Vicky and Vipin were arrested in this case. Accused Vikas @ Vicky was found previously involved in 9 cases of Robbery/ Snatching/ Arms Act etc and accused Vipin found previously involved in 5 cases of Robbery, Riot, Hurt etc. Further efforts are being made to trace their involvement in other cases also.

6. One stolen Motorola mobile phone.
