On 1st May, 2022 in the the presence of eminent personalities from Maharashtra the power-packed Newsmakers Achievers award event was held at Yashwantrao Chavan Auditorium. Ved Prakash Vaidik, a senior journalist, Nadira Babbar, an Indian theatre actress and Dr. Prabha Atre, an Indian classical vocalist were awarded the Lifetime Achievers Award. Due to some health issues the NCP leader Sharad Pawar wasn’t able to attend the event.
The former CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fandavis while speakling at the 14th News Maker Achievers Award said, “I am honored to present the award to Prabha Atre ji, Vaidik ji and Nadira Babbar. But I remembered Sharad Pawar. He is a prominent politician and has contributed a lot to the state.
“Awards make people feel great and those who are awarded make them great. The Newsmakers Achiever Award is a prestigious award. I appreciate Dr Vaidehi’s efforts, he further added.”
Dr. Zinal Shah said, “Dr. Vaidehi Editor-in-Chief is a real dynamic soul, the business newspaper has become very tough, but in such a competitive scenario, Afternoon voice is continuously developing. It is bringing socio-economic change in newspapers and Democracy has tremendous power to preserve, protect and promote. In my entire life, this was the first award ceremony without sponsors. ”
IAS Ashish Kumar, who received the award said, “It was a humbling experience to be honored by the Afternoon Voice, which was organized in an impeccable manner.”
On this occasion, former Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat said, “Thank you for giving me the ‘Best Performing Politian Award’ at this function. I feel extremely blessed to receive this award in the presence of eminent personalities. ”
Shreya Bugde Seth said, “I love the way the entire award ceremony is organized. It was straight from the heart, with an emotional attachment to what the Afternoon voice team is doing in the field of journalism. The presence of eminent personalities from different fields had shown that they also believe in honesty.”
