India is on the verge of making history in the vaccination campaign against the corona virus that started nine months ago. India will set an example in front of the world as soon as it crosses the 100 crore vaccination dosage mark on Thursday. After the start of the covid-19, all kinds of apprehensions were raised about India. Questions were raised about India's ability to undertake the marathon task of vaccinating all eligible people in a population of over 130 crore.
There were also concerns about the availability of the vaccine. With the passage of time, India not only debunked all these doubts and also, debunked the questions, kept moving forward on the path of providing vaccine protective shield to its citizens but now has crossed the threshold of one billion doses.
Apart from India, China is the only country to have given more than 100 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses so far. In June, China had reached the figure of 10 million. Health Minister Mandaviya has said that when India achieves its target of providing 100 crore doses, announcements will be made on Metros, Railway stations, and Airports.
On the occasion of giving 100 crore vaccination doses in the country Mandaviya will release singer Kailash Kher's song and audio-visual film from the Red Fort. Mandaviya tweeted and wrote that the country is close to making a vaccine century. To be a part of this golden opportunity, I appeal to the countrymen, those who are yet to be vaccinated, to get vaccinated immediately, and contribute in this historic golden vaccination journey of India.
